HOW OUR SYSTEM WORKS IN HOTELS

Systech Telecom's entire system for Hotel High-Speed Internet Service has 3 major areas:-

1. Connection to Guest Rooms - Network Infrastructure

Wired and Wireless signal coverage for guest rooms, meeting rooms, lobby, restaurants within the hotels are provided via a variety of infrastructure networks such as CAT5, CAT6, optical fiber, leaky and coaxial cables, DSL and Wi-Fi access points. such network is then connected to a set of servers typically installed inside hotels' PBX or server room.

2. Management Control System

There are 5 management systems used to control the operation of Hotel Internet Service:

• User Management System - allows to set different pricing plans (including free usage) and usage period, to activate and de-activate any user accounts, and to view all users records such as login/logout time and total usage for a specified period.

• Authentication and Billing System - allows users to login to use Internet service and keep track of users usage record for billing purpose. Login can be done by pre-paid (e.g. pre-paid card) or by post-paid (e.g. PMS interface) for both wired and wireless Internet service.

• Property Management System (PMS) Interface - allows billing charges for Internet usage to be added directly to guests' room bill via hotels' PMS.

• Network Management System - allows status of Internet line, equipment, bandwidth utilization, user information such as IP address, MAC address, room no., upload and download speed, upload and download data transmitted size to be monitored in real time. The system also allows the control of users data upload and download speed.

• Security System - provides data security and filters users and devices with abnormal behavior (e.g. virus affected computers, spreading spam, etc.)

3. Connection to Internet

The servers installed at the hotels are connected to the Internet broadband lines. Systech Telecom has alliances with local carriers in each region for the provision of Internet broadband lines. Systech Telecom itself also has ISP and telecom licence in many countries.
