NETWORK OPTIONS
One or more
network infrastructure types may be implemented for the same
hotel depending on hotel's physical structure and requirement.
Systech Telecom is experienced in implementing multiple
network environments.
"Wired"
Internet Network

CAT5/CAT6
Solution -
CAT5 or CAT6
cables are installed inside each room. For high usage
demand, optical fibers will be used as backbone for fast
data transmission.

ADSL
Solution -
Systech Telecom
uses the latest ADSL technology which differs from the old
ADSL technology in terms of data transmission speed rate and VLAN function.

Splitting
Tel. Line Solution -
Each fixed line
telephone requires only 1 pair of copper wire for voice
transmission. A special splitter will be installed to split
the copper wires of the existing telephone lines hence both
voice and data can be transmitted via the existing telephone
lines.

Electric
Power Line Solution -
This solution
uses the existing electric power lines to transmit Internet
signal. A special device will be plugged into the electric
power socket to split electricity and data transmission.
"Wireless"
Internet Network

Leaky Cable Solution -
This solution is
particularly suitable for hotel environment. A wireless
signal radiating cable will be installed above the ceiling
of the corridors of the guest room floors hence no equipment
are needed to be installed inside the guest rooms. This
facilitates route maintenance performed by technician since
maintenance is not performed inside the guest rooms.

Coaxial Cable Solution -
This is a
replacement of Leaky Cable Solution if the size of guest
rooms is very large in which signal cannot be penetrated
fully into the guest rooms. Same as leaky cable solution,
coaxial cables are installed above the ceiling of the
corridors of the guest room floors.

TV Cable Network Solution -
This solution
utilizes the existing TV cable network already installed
inside the hotels or buildings to transmit wireless Internet
signal. All existing TV cable splitters are required to be
replaced by special made splitters which allow both TV
signal and wireless Internet signal to be transmitted at the
same time. The TV cable wall plate will need to be replaced
by a special made wall plate which consists of a connector
to connect to TV cable and a small antenna to transmit and
receive wireless signal.

Pure Access Point Solution -
This
solution is suitable for open area such as hotel lobby,
meeting rooms, club house and swimming pool side area.

ADSL Solution -
One ADSL modem
is required to be installed inside each room. The advanced
ADSL modems can provide both ˇ§wiredˇ¨ and ˇ§wirelessˇ¨ Internet
with VLAN functions and high speed data transmission rate.

Electric Power Line Solution -
This solution
uses existing electric power lines to transmit Internet
signal. A special device is needed to be plugged into the
electric power socket to split electricity and data
transmission.
